That’s why we aim to do cool stuff like this to give back to the community. This time we’re celebrating Shocktober the month of horror and horror gaming by giving away (thanks to the awesome folks at Elgato Gaming) a Game Capture HD (valued at around $170). The Elgato Game Capture HD is a fantastic piece of kit that will let you stream and record your game footage from a PS3 or Xbox 360 in 1080p HD.

So how do you win? We’re trying to keep this simple:

Nutritionally-balanced pizza set to debut in the UK; fish and chips coming soon!

Professor Mike Lean, from Glasgow University’s human nutrition department, has partnered with businessman Donnie Maclean to create and market a truly healthy frozen pizza. By modifying traditional recipes with some modern ingredients — like using seaweed in the dough to cut down on sodium —  Professor Lean says the two have perfected a recipe which is safe to eat three meals a day. Every day. Forever. Of course, the two don’t recommend doing so, but they stand behind the claim and say their pizzas taste just as good if not better than their competition. Home HIV test approved by FDA: Good news for those who want to take an HIV test in the privacy of their own home. The Food and Drug Administration has approved an over-the-counter version of the OraQuick HIV test, which checks your saliva to see if you test positive for the disease that causes AIDS. The company behind the test, OraSure, doesn’t know a price, but says it’ll be below $60 — and hopefully available in 30,000 drug stores across the country. The FDA warns, though, that the test isn’t 100 percent accurate. OraSure notes that the test is about 92 percent accurate for positive results, and 99 percent accurate for negative results. (photo via Wikimedia Commons)
